In 2007 Joe L. Carter recorded the theme song to the documentary, The Water Front, after learning how so many poor people were affected by water policies in Highland Park, Michigan. Please Mr. Waterman is his dedication to the people in Highland Park and the individuals fighting to defend the rights of the poor and water as a human right.

After hearing about Highland Park and how the documentary shared and related the resident's story I just had to be a part of this movement in some way. The drums in this remix were programmed on a Boss DR-5 using the "live kit" and then I eq'd them until I felt the drums matched Highland Park's frustration. For your consideration, this is the No Mercy remix.
